We need to confront the ideology of sexism that we teach to boys

A few weeks ago the Telegraph published an article about organisations working with boys to prevent violence against women and girls – the kind of work which I am researching for my PhD – entitled ‘We must stop indoctrinating boys in feminist ideology‘. The article describes these campaigns as a ‘mushrooming series of initiatives in which ideologically-driven activists are being invited into schools’ as part of an ‘increasingly pervasive culture of toxic feminism in schools’. The sheer ridiculousness of these claims has already been pointed out (e.g. here) – suffice to say that it would be fantastic if this kind of work actually was taking place in our education system on anything like the scale that the article suggests.
